Three cards maximum to get up to nine - and three possible bets; banco to bet on the banker, punto to bet against it and tie to bet on a draw.
The croupier asks a player to cut the deck. They draw the first card, put aside the same number of cards as its value and the game begins.
In Punto Banco, hands are valued according to the rightmost digit of the sum of the cards drawn:
6 + 6 = 12, the value of the hand is 2
4 + 9 = 13, the value of the hand is 3
Face cards and tens are worth 0, the rest of the cards have face value.
Bets are placed, then the croupier deals two cards to the player and two to the banker. Player cards are placed to the right of the croupier and banker cards to the left. The hand with the best score wins.
At the Casino de Monte-Carlo, the minimum bet for this game is 100 euros
