Type of events
For the first time in its history, the starting-line for the “Tour de France” cycling race event will be right here in Monaco. Several times a stop-over town, Monaco has never before hosted a Grand Departure of the “Tour de France”.
This exciting première will give competing cyclists the chance to tackle part of the track of Monaco’s legendary F1 Grand Prix, over a distance of 15 km ! The following day, Monaco will also host the start of the race for the second leg of the “Tour de France” 2009.
At the HOTEL DE PARIS in the Côté Jardin restaurant :
3-course lunch, from noon to 3 p.m., with 1/2 bottle of wine per person, followed by a buffet of fruit and pastries from 4 to 5 p.m.
